People resist change for various reasons, including fear of the unknown, loss of control, potential loss of status or job security, discomfort with new routines, and a preference for stability. Additionally, mistrust, peer pressure, organizational politics, and fear of failure can also contribute to resistance to change.

Throughout my life, I’ve been held back by my limited beliefs. These beliefs, often ingrained from my childhood or shaped by my past experiences, I created invisible barriers that prevented me from reaching my full potential. They whispered doubts in my ear, telling me I wasn’t good enough, smart enough, or deserving enough. These limiting thoughts became a part of my identity, influencing my decisions and actions in ways I didn’t fully understand.

Living with limited beliefs is like navigating life with blinders on. They narrow our vision, making it difficult to see the vast possibilities that lie beyond our self-imposed constraints. They keep us in a comfort zone that feels safe but keeps us held captive.

Breaking free from these beliefs requires a conscious effort to challenge ourselves and get out from our comfort zone.

The day I hired my life coach Naz marked a turning point in my life. She assisted me in identifying the narratives I had been telling myself every day, helping me realize they were just perceptions formed by fear and insecurity. Naz taught me that by breaking free from these beliefs, we could start to deconstruct them and substitute them with empowering thoughts that pave the way to new possibilities. And OMG! she was correct.

For me, working one on one with Naz has been transformative. I’ve learned to embrace my strengths and acknowledge my worth. I’ve started to see challenges as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles. This shift in mindset has allowed me to approach life with a sense of curiosity and possibility.

Ultimately, overcoming limited beliefs is about reclaiming our power and stepping into our true potential. It’s about recognizing that we are capable of far more than we ever imagined and that the only limits that truly exist are the ones we place on ourselves. Naz identified a potential within me that I had not noticed, and now, day by day, I am welcoming this newly discovered aspect of myself.

It is human nature to crave certainty and resist change, yet nothing in life is purely black and white, nor will it remain unchanged. The one constant is change itself. We are now in a period of transformation, as external conditions temporarily shift out of alignment with our desires and expectations. It’s important to stay the course and remember that even storms serve to clear the air, disperse seeds, and enrich the soil for future growth. It’s in the unknown that magic can be found.

Dear Readers, challenge yourself …please step out of your comfort zone and embrace the unknown. Try something new, whether it’s taking an alternate path to work, brushing your teeth with your non-dominant hand, or exploring a hobby you’ve always been curious about. These small actions can ignite a spark within you, encouraging you to take the necessary steps toward the change you know, deep down, is essential.

Slow but steady wins the race

Remember, growth happens outside of your comfort zone. Each new experience, no matter how small, builds your confidence and resilience. It’s in these moments of discomfort that you discover your true potential and strength. So, take that leap of faith. Challenge yourself to break free from routine and embrace the possibilities that await.

You have the power to transform your life. By stepping out of your comfort zone, you’re not just trying something new, you’re opening doors to new opportunities, perspectives, and growth. Believe in yourself and trust that every step you take, no matter how small, is a step toward a brighter, more fulfilling future.

Ever since my transformative experience in 2016, I typically refer to it as a “tower moment, " I became a complete Hermit. Slowly but surely, my life coach is guiding me to take center stage and to allow myself to be seen and heard.

Thank you all for reading. Please feel free to share any changes you’ve made in the comment section; I would love to hear about them.

And always remember
