Rewire Your Brain: Unlock Your Full Potential
Did you know that your brain will constantly rewire itself to suit the information you feed into it?
If you constantly complain, gossip, find excuses, etc. It will make it much easier to find things to be upset about, regardless of what is happening around you.
Likewise, if you constantly search for opportunities, abundance, love and things to be grateful for, it will make it much easier to find a reflection of those things around you.
It is true that throughout our lives we encounter many mishaps and negative situations that haunt us for too long. But we can change this by working towards a more positive outlook. I know it’s easier said than done, as I have been there. But I hope to simplify it for you so you can see how easy it is to help your brain focus more on the positive than the negative.
During my healing journey, I set out to understand why, even on an amazing day, my mind could suddenly shift to a negative memory, dampening my joy. It’s a frustrating experience many of us encounter.
I read that our brains have an inherent negativity bias, a survival mechanism from our ancestors who needed to be hyper-aware of threats to stay safe. This bias means that negative thoughts and memories often have a stronger impact on us than positive ones.
