There’s something incredibly peaceful about spending quiet moments in nature, especially in your own garden. The beauty of the weather has made it the perfect setting for my morning journaling and meditation sessions.

This seamless connection with nature offered me an unexpected insight into my own life…

As I was looking around my garden, I noticed how the constant rain has rotted some of my plants’ roots, leading to their death.

As I sat there sipping my coffee, gazing at the dead-looking flower, I realized how once upon a time this mirrored my life in many ways. Just as the rain can overwhelm the plants, too many negative influences or pressures can overwhelm us.

I also observed how some insects cling to the leaves and devour them, causing the flowers to eventually die as well. And I came to the realization as pests feed off plants, draining their nutrients and causing damage, energy vampires do the same to humans, but emotionally.

Pests like insect's cling to leaves, devour them, and eventually weaken or kill the plant.

Similarly, energy vampires latch onto people, draining their emotional energy, leaving them feeling exhausted and overwhelmed.
