Let Your Inner Wolf out to Play
Your Instincts will lead you to your destination
Hello dear readers!!
I want to share with you the importance of using our instincts. As I was out walking my dog, Mia. I notice a squirrel running around with a nut of some sort in his mouth. He would stop dig, then run towards another spot, dig again, and move till the next area until he finally buried his meal for future eating.
When he did it the first time, I thought maybe he didn’t like the area he had chosen. But after the second time, I had to pull out my phone and search this behavior. Guess what? This little squirrel was just creating confusion for other squirrels so they wouldn’t be able to find his next meal.
Who told him to do that? Absolutely no one; the squirrel’s behavior was instinctual, an innate trait just like ours.
By the way, my dog Mia has no reason to hide any of her treats, yet she still does. And I must say she looks so adorable as she goes off to hide them under her blanket with her tiny little nose, as if she’s pulling off the greatest secret mission of all time. 🤣
I love nature, especially when animals are involved. Watching them really helps put things into perspective. One can learn a thing or two from our animal kingdom, and this is what inspired my article for the day.
