As some of you already know, ever since I found the book of life nestled in a tree during my walk, I have begun to read and research its meaning, incorporating what resonates with me while leaving what does not for someone else.
I am beginning to see the Bible more and more each time I read it and compare it to my life experiences and those around me as a day- to-day manual. I would have never imagined the power this one book holds within each page.
Yes, it is hard to read and comprehend at times, but there are so many resources out there available to us all that can help translate the message into a more contemporary language without deterring from its original context.
Many people respect the Bible for its religious significance. However, the Bible does offer more than religious guidance. I found it has practical advice for everyday living.
I, for one feel my life is more balanced. My mental and emotional health has improved. I have gained a more positive outlook. Reading the Bible, I have found real purpose and meaning in life.
